Doing It All with God's Help

This was on my home page one day not too long ago. I read it first thing in the morning and chuckled to myself, "If you have too much to do, then you have too many things on your list." I close out my home page and began my morning work.

Mid morning I had some computer work to do. Unfortunately, I couldn't access the internet. There was a problem with the filter. 3 service calls and 4 hours later I still hadn't resolved my problem. My work list was hardly touched and I had 30 minutes to get things done.

Then that quote from earlier in the morning came to mind but in a different light. I felt like God was teaching me a lesson about laughing at such a quote. My list to do was suppose to be managable but I didn't anticipate being sidetracked with a 4 hour computer issue. I quickly said a prayer for wisdom to know what had to get done in those 30 minutes and what I could do the next day. Sure enough, God showed me what could be done in those 30 minutes.
